The purpose of The American Breast Cancer Federation is to:
To make the public aware of the health risks involved with breast cancer.
To inform the public about the importance of early detection of breast cancer.
To pay for breast cancer tests for individuals under the age 40 cannot financially afford to pay for these tests, and/or counseling individuals when appropriate, and/or referring them to agencies better suited to meet their needs.
To provide financial assistance to "financially hard shipped" patients during their recovery time. Financial assistance may be, but is not limited to food, lodging, transportation, goods and services as deemed fit by the Board of Directors in their sole discretion.
To distribute literature informing the public on the risks of contracting breast cancer.
Routine testing & mammograms are essential in the fight against breast cancer. Early detection is the difference! If you or someone you know cannot afford these routine tests please have contact our organization.
